MOMS Club International
Are you an at-home mom looking for support, companionship, friendship, and networking? MOMS Clubs International may be just what you are looking for. MOMS, which stands for “Moms Offering Moms Support”, started in 1983 by a California stay-at-home mom who was unable to find an organization specifically for at-home moms. There are currently over 2,000 chapters in the U.S. and over 100,000 members. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have over 40 local chapters. There’s bound to be one in your neighborhood!
Why preschoolers love MOMS Club International
Playdates are the main perk for your preschooler. These activities can range from fields trips, parties, hikes, music classes, age-appropriate outings, and volunteer opportunities. Your preschooler will enjoy experiencing the activities that your local MOMS Club organizes, especially since he will get to do these things with preschoolers his own age.
Babysitting co-ops are formed. This enables your preschooler a chance to play with his friend on his own turf, or vice versa. What preschooler doesn't love a visit from a pal?
Parties are held throughout the year to celebrate significant holidays. Your preschooler will have fun eating, drinking, and playing with other preschoolers as he learns the importance of the holiday event.
Why moms love MOMS Club International
This support group really understands you. At-home moms today are interested in local and world news, want their preschooler to experience a wide range of activities, and are proud of being an at-home mom. MOMS Club meetings are held during the day, which is when most at-home moms need support.
Preschoolers are welcome at meetings. MOMS Club believes that at-home moms shouldn't be isolated, therefore all children are welcomed at meetings. Some preschoolers think they are at their own support group!
Mom's Night Out are planned often, sometimes every month. This gives moms a well-deserved break and a chance to socialize with other moms.
Community service is a goal of MOMS Club. Many local groups have fundraisers to support charities in their areas. This helps helps the community as well as teaches preschoolers the importance of philanthropy.
