Bacheeso's Garden Bistro is a family-owned and operated restaurant that serves Moroccan, Greek, and Mediterranean food. This restaurant is child-friendly, affordable, and uses almost 100% organic food.
What preschoolers will love about Bacheeso's
The menu has a wide variety of American preschooler favorites, such as pancakes for breakfast, spaghetti for lunch or dinner, and amazing desserts. My son enjoyed his hot chocolate immensely. Our server was great about making sure that it wasn't too hot to drink.
There is a fountain and statue of a Greek Goddess, smack dab in the middle of the restaurant. Your preschooler is bound to find this design feature interesting. Perhaps you can use it as a learning experience.
What parents will love about Bacheeso's
The food they serve is almost entirely organic. The menu is large and the servings are plentiful.
Bacheeso's is extremely affordable. I had breakfast with my preschooler here and our tab came to $10.
They have an amazing buffet. It consists of over 10 large platters of freshly cooked food, including a big roasted turkey. The leftover buffet food is given to organizations such as Food not Bombs or the Jubilee Center for Kids.
They play lovely Mediterranean music. The music is a bit loud, which can be good when dining with a boisterous preschooler.
What parents should know about Bacheeso's
The dining chairs may be a safety concern. Many of their dining chairs have wheels on them. If your preschooler likes to eat in a kneeling position, the wheeled chair has a tendency to move around.
Arriving early is key. The buffet is a big draw. Plan to arrive as early as possible to have the best selection of food.
No kiddie freebies, such as a coloring book and crayons. Translation: you will have to bring something to keep your preschooler occupied.
